Anti Discrimination Center Memorial published a report about the situation of Roma people in eastern Ukraine. The minority is a group that is exposed to discrimination at a large scale, no matter which side of the frontline they find themselves on. Roma are met with distrust, which frequently leads to violence, eviction and other forms of discrimination. ADC Memorial notes that there is virtually no support for the Roma people, even in areas not affected by the war, which ideally should provide some kind of shelter for people fleeing from the conflict.
